Project Description
RCSHK has hosted the Elderly e-Sports Tournament and Experience Day at Cyberport. Aligned with Rotary District 3450’s values of solidarity and well-being, the event holistically nurtures the body, mind, and soul of elderly and vulnerable groups. Over 300 seniors from different areas in Hong Kong enhanced cognitive wellness via augmented AI technology, “Flying Hero” motion games and they received spinal health screenings. With robust support from community partners, sponsors and volunteers, this initiative advances community development, sustainability in support of UN SDGs, fostering a smarter, healthier Hong Kong.

Project partners include guests of honors from legislative council, district council members, HKSAR, venue Cyberport CEO, Rotarians, Rotaractors. Goodies were provided by commercial sponsors including corporate law firm, professor, NGO sponsors include Intergeneration Foundation and University of Hong Kong. Elderly participants were recruited from Hong Lok District in Kwun Tong and the New Home Association. Cyberport provided venue support, and the event was co-organized by the Hong Kong Innovation and Technology Development Association. The beneficiary organization was The Society for the Promotion of Hospice Care.
